SUPER READ SYSTEM

Brought on by this jam and my fascination with peculiar pieces of technology: Super Read System, a very niche e-reader with a totally necessary handle! Doomed to be overshadowed by handheld gaming consoles with greater commercial success and becoming an object of tech collectors search for obscure gadgets :D

I think this is the first time I tried to actually design any kind of technology, let alone a handheld console so this was a fun project to do! I went into this pondering 'okay what's the most impractical add on for a handheld game console? A handle like on hand held mirrors????', and it snowballed from there ahahaha. The other thought was that I wanted to design a type of console that would have ended up becoming extremely obscure, having got overshadowed by more successful technology and most of the fame would come from being a chapter in a book about rare game consoles, WHICH REMINDS ME: I recommend reading 'Curious Video Game Machines' by Lewis Packwood, it's very interesting :D
